Apprenticeship – Training
Finances need an “upgrade”? Trying to “get ahead” in life? If you consider yourself someone who is willing to learn, willing to risk trusting others, then CARE Ownership has an opportunity for you that can help you greatly increase your financial well-being for the long-term. We are looking for single men or women to learn landlord and business skills, who will be given the opportunity to own their own building and become their own landlord of a multi-family building. Interested? Then read on…. In exchange for free rent in a single-bedroom unit of a multi-family home in one of our renovated properties, you will work approximately 10 hours per week during the evening and on weekends helping to fix up the house you will ultimately own. You will take part in mentoring and training programs to learn: – construction, maintenance, and repair skills – business and financial skills – landlord management skills This is a long-term commitment from you and from us. The training program will take 2-3 years, during which time you will continue to have the apartment rent-free. After satisfactory completion of the training programs, we will help you to purchase the building, which will provide you with monthly income and free rent as long as you own the building. Who Can Apply
We need apprentices who would love to make a new life for themselves, who are already on the path to change, but see the need for a sustainable income along with mentorship in economic life-skills. To be eligible for acceptance into our mentorship program, a prospective apprentice must be have been drug and alcohol free for one year, employed 40 hours per week, and be willing to invest energy & time to development of sustainable economic security. To be able to truly benefit from our mentorship program, a prospective apprentice must be clean for one year, employed, and be willing to invest energy & time to development of sustainable economic security.

Training Opportunities
Position: Trainee in Real Estate Management
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
Description: Work alongside our construction supervisor 5-10 hours per week, learning to repair & maintain real estate. Participate in training & mentoring to learn business skills and management techniques for becoming an eventual landlord of your own property. Opportunity for Rent-free apt, and eventual ownership of a multi-family building to provide permanent economic security.
