Seeking New Board Members – CARE Ownership would like to grow our Board and is looking for people with the following skills: Marketing & Communication; Fundraising; Volunteer Coordination; and Construction Project Management.
The Board meets on the second Monday of every month at 7:00 PM at our office located in First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh, 320 Sixth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Board members are expected to contribute financial resources and time.

Board Member Biographies:
Linda Schultz
Linda Schultz has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and has, over 30 years, had the privilege, on a volunteer basis, of assisting numerous individuals living with mental illness, past prison terms, poverty, or disability. She and her husband were owners of rental property for 10 years, both inner city and rural locations. Her twenty-five year career in the insurance industry has led to her current position as the East Coast regional medical technology underwriter for a major insurance carrier. Married, with two teenagers, Linda has a passion for social justice and helping those on the edge of society’s norms.
Aaron R. Risden, CPA
Aaron Risden is a manager at a leading regional accounting and consulting firm in Pittsburgh. Aaron specializes in providing audit, accounting and tax services to businesses in the construction, manufacturing, real estate, and insurance industries, as well as to employee benefit plans. Aaron is the Vice-President of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has previously served the Pittsburgh Chapter of the PICPA as Co-Chair of the Community Involvement & Social Responsibility Committee, Chair of the Member Services Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee. Aaron was recognized as one of the PICPA’s 40 Under 40 Members to Watch in 2008. Aaron is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Aaron received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh.
Robert J. Thompson, MFA
RJ is a graphic design educator, student, and entrepreneur. He is currently the principal of Zola Design, LLC. Outside of professional practice, he teaches classes in web design, creative development, design principles, and various software programs.
